Your Safer Schools Scotland App can now be accessed anytime, anywhere! You can now access the App through any device with an internet browser. You will only be able to gain access to the Web App if your school is already registered for the Native App as one of the Opt in Services in the Safer Schools Digital Safeguarding Ecosystem

Currently Using The Native App?

A Native App means the App that is on your mobile device, so your phone or tablet. This is the one you have downloaded form the App store for your device.

If you currently use the native Safer Schools Scotland app, getting access to the Web App is simple.

Step 1 Open the Web App here: https://my.saferschoolsscotland.co.uk/

Step 2 Enter the log in details you use for the Native App

This is the username and password you created yourself on your Native App when you first downloaded it from the App Store on your device.


Step 3 Click log in! You’ll be asked to select your role if you already have more than one on your Account.

Everything you will see on the web app is the Same as on the native app – any tests you’ve previously completed will be shown, as well as previous results you have achieved.

Are You New to Safer Schools?

If you’ve never used Safer Schools Scotland before, you Do Not need to have had previous access to the Native App.

Creating An Account On The Web App

Before you begin, ensure that you have the 4 Digit Code from your school. You will need it after creating your account for the first time.

Step 1 Open the Web App here: https://my.saferschoolsscotland.co.uk/

Step 2 Click Register Here under the bar that says Login


Step 3 Enter a name, email address and create a password.


Step 4 Click Create Account and read and agree to the Terms and Conditions you will see.

Step 5 You will be prompted to Add Your School or Role. Select the school from the drop down, and use the 4 Digit Entry Code provided by your school when prompted.

If your school does not appear in the drop down menu, this means your school has not yet registered for the Safer Schools App as an opt in service – this includes both the Native AND Web App.

If you do not have the entry code to hand, your account Still Exists, and there is no need to recreate it. If you get the code later, simply log back in again and you’ll be asked to add your school again.
